  • 1.  Fair Questions re: Bundle Packages / Discounted Rates

    Greetings all,
    We're (WACAC) in the process of planning for next year fairs, and I would love to get the groups feedback/insight on a few things. We currently offer early/regular/late registration. With the former being a special rate and timeframe for members. We're also looking to increase our number of fairs, and one comment/question that came up was the option to allow colleges to purchase as a bundle (to help with costs due to increase). The person who currently runs our registration system said it was a hassle, so I wanted to know if anyone now is offering a bundle for fairs.
    • Do any of you use MemberClicks for your fair registrations?
    • Do you allow colleges and universities to register for (multiple) fairs as a bundle deal? If so, how do you manage (e.g., special code, etc.)? Is it challenging to set it up?

    Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Shanell,

    NJACAC does not use MemberClicks, however, we are going into a new CRM and will be exploring the possibility of offering discounted rates (member vs. non-member) and/or bundle discounts based on volume of fairs an institution registers for.

    Putting on my recruiter hat, what I have seen from organizations that offer some form of a discount is they either leverage their member portal, in other words, they have you register for a fair behind the member portal and then offer the member rate. Or, a code is provided that is then entered at checkout to provide the discounted pricing.

    I think it comes down to the versatility of your CRM to be able to do that.

    Hi Shanell,

    HawaiiACAC does not use Member Clicks and we just switched to a new system and our Tech person does all of the registration for us.  We charge colleges a fee to participate in the fairs, and then charge an additional fee per fair.  We will open registration for our fall fairs on August 1 and have published our schedule and fee structure on our website, you can find it here https://hawaiiacac.org/college-fairs/
